Welcome to Jacket’s Required, hello, I’m Dominic Lacquaniti, designer and tailor.
On this week’s episode of Jackets required TV we’re going to talk about what to wear to your graduation.
Yes, it DOES matter what you wear under the traditional tacky graduation gown…so this episode goes out to parents and seniors.
Graduation is an exciting time. It’s a rite of passage from societal childhood to adulthood. As you phase from dependency – to life, on your own, you should at least look the part. Fake it until you make it right?
Following last week’s episode with guest Cheryl Lampard where we talked about your style being your brand, this is the perfect time to start that for yourself. How do you want others to perceive you?
Step it up and dress it up. It’s time.
Parents, it’s a great way for you to give your kids a leg-up as they head into the workforce or off to college. Set them up with at least one really great custom suit. This will improve other peoples’ perception of them and will benefit them in numerous ways as they begin their journey. It’s a gift that will keep giving, trust me.
Share with your stylish, and style-challenged friends, and be sure to let me know if you have a specific question or topic you’d like to see in the series.
Thanks for watching. See you next week. Remember, looking good is between you and your tailor…
